One of them is x64(64bit) and the other one is x86(32bit), you can check your CPU with CPU-Z software. About requirments and games, google them please. Generally Win7 is working fine on most of systems. There is a little problem about some games but as i said, google them

So, what's the word on performing an in-place upgrade from an existing 64-bit Win7 to this version?
I am currently running Win7 x64 RC build 7201 and would like to "upgrade" to this more final build.
Is that possible, or even necessary?

Pretty sure that you can NOT upgrade the beta's or the release candidate. Al least thats what I remember reading somewhere, I used both. You would have to do a clean install.
